Artwork and Design Information

At Printsmart Graphics you can either submit your artwork to us or you can get one of our talented graphic designers to design for you.

If you or your graphic designers are supplying your own artwork please check our requirements so that we can get the best possible print outcome with the minimum of fuss.

Templates and sizing details of all the banners can be supplied by email

Our Requirements are:

All Artwork must be one of the following formats. ( .eps, .pdf, )
Images inside these documents should be over 300dpi. This is so when they are printed they are not pixelated or distorted.
Correct dimensions for your chosen banner.
Files should be supplied in CMYK format.

Artwork Costs:

No artwork charges apply where Print Ready files are supplied to our template specifications.
Where Printsmart’s Graphics team are required to build files or make changes to a supplied file artwork charges may apply.
The artwork hourly charge is $60 + GST per hour.

Our Requirements for Large Display Systems:

You can do the artwork at half size.
Just as long as when artwork is enlarged to proper size, dpi/resolution is at least normal 100dpi @ 100%print size.
Or best result 150dpi@ 100% pritn size. So if you are working at half that size. Your artwork needs to finish up at 150dpi%100%printsize.
Your images will need to be 300pdi@50%printsize.
Also supply as a pdf with fonts changed to outline or curves please. With trim marks only and bleed. Also you can create your artwork and then distill it, using Acrobat Distiller on the High Quality Print Settings. This offer makes a much smaller file, rather than just creating a pdf straight from your Indesign or Illustrator file.
